A beautiful night with great company great models and great drawing.
Our model called in sick at the last minute, I hope she is feeling better,
being the great people that you are we all pitched in and took a turn modeling.
Next time someone else can take the long pose. My legs were sore all the next day, I'm not sure what that says about my physical condition, but when we have to pose it gives a renewed appreciation for our models.
It is such and inspiration to come and draw with all of you.
Nice to have a group that helps each other out when in a quandary ...a nose position a color
or to just make fun of my green and yellow man.
I am so lucky that you all have just happened to walk in the door.
You keep the Old Court House figurative league going with your enthusiasm for drawing and painting the figure.
Christine K is back and took pictures for us again Thanks and she said it best in her e-mail

Wow inspiration was flowing this past Wednesday, the 10th of September 2008
Life has been busy for us all.
But we are back down to business. Some have been on vacations inspired by the art in NYC and the great outdoors.Others busy with Real People and end of summer activities.
Soon we will lose our snow birds as they migrate to the warmth of the South.
We will miss you, but look forward to seeing you again with all your fantastic work that you bring back And your renewed outlook.
As promised a list of winners from Real People 2008
I must apologize to the winners for my failure to notify you of your awards prior to the opening.
This is my first year in the Chair position with Bev and we had many turns and bumps in the road or as one artists put it a "snafu." We had many, but Thank You for all your understanding
